The Association of Eastern Historical Societies (AEHS) is a voluntary peak body for historical societies and history groups in the Eastern Region of Melbourne
The AEHS provides mutual support to member groups, meeting four times per year
The AEHS provides lobbying support on issues such as the funding of TROVE and protecting heritage buildings.
The AEHS holds a biennial conference.
The AEHS is an affiliate of the Royal Historical Society of Victoria
Membership is open to historical societies and history groups in the Eastern Region of Melbourne.
Membership fees: $20 yearly per member group
Member groups must nominate at least one AEHS Representative to attend meetings.
