The Association of Eastern Historical Societies Inc. has a membership of 20 historical societies and history groups in the Eastern region of Melbourne.
The AEHS provides mutual support to member groups, meeting four times a year at member venues.
Each meeting includes a speaker who provides an element of skills development and educational value in local history for member groups.
The AEHS holds a biennial conference.
